Okay, okay… it’s technically 12:03am on June 8th, but I’m adding an addendum to the June 7th post, so I’m going to fudge it a little bit.

In my previous post, I only included up through yesterday (June 6th) of my Writing Log, mainly because I hadn’t written yet today (June 7th).

That is no longer the case.

I now have a two-day streak of writing over 4,000 words. With today’s writing, Lynxeen is sitting at 92,626 words. As I’ve said before, I don’t write to word count, but to story completion. That said, I like using 96,250 as “a rough ballpark” target for each of my novels.

Most of today’s writing finished Chapter 37. Also like I wrote in my previous post, I’m feeling like the story needs somewhere around 40 to 41 chapters to be complete. I could easily be wrong, but all the same, it’s very close.

I’ll be the first to tell you that two days isn’t much of a streak. Still, though… it feels damn good after the previous two months. Sometimes, it’s the little victories that make all the difference.

My goal, at this point, is to resume the weekly writing updates.
