It’s been a little bit since I posted here, and I should probably schedule this post to go live after the newsletter I’m going to schedule for today goes out… but I’m not.
I have two pieces of news, and I’m not sure which is more deserving of being “the lead.” I’ll get the publishing news out of the way, first.
Torvalin goes live on December 5th. Yes, that’s right… this Friday. Four days from now. Once I’ve had sleep, I’ll make sure that the store links on the book page are accurate, because there have been some changes… mainly Apple Books. The Barnes & Noble links will be changing next month… hopefully.
Right, then… the other piece of news.
I am no longer alone in my living space.
His name is Hades. He’s about three years old.
I adopted him from a writer friend a couple states south of me, primarily because he does not get on well with other felines.
If you were to see him standing up, you’d probably swear he’s one of those fluffballs that would lose 60% of their volume when they get soaked. Yeah… not so much. If you pet him or slide your hand down his back, you’ll realize the fluff is hiding more cat than you might think. His previous human said he’s about the size of an adolescent Maine Coon.
I am sure my training is proceeding well, even though he has yet to provide me any kind of progress report.

As Brian mentioned in another comment, Colfyr audio is available now from my site, and it’s wending its way through the other storefronts.
I believe the audio for Lynxeen is also in progress (just started today) for an end-of-month delivery on first-round audio, so the finalized audio should be available here by January 15th… depending on my go-to narrator’s workload when I return my comments.

When I hit buy direct for the book, the screen just flashes and goes back to the same page. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Sorry! I thought I had updated all the links, but in my defense, I was doing it in the wee hours of today after having been awake since 10am or 11am Sunday. The direct link works now. I shall proceed to check the rest.

Update: I’m still waiting on several links, but I will update those once I have them.
The buttons for Buy Direct, Amazon, Google Play, and Kobo are updated.
I finally found it under shop on the website but when I try to purchase it tells me that my client authentication failed, even if I try to go through paypal. I tried re-entering my info and recreating my account (since you revamped) and it says the same thing.
Okay. That’s weird. Are you able to send me screenshots or copy/paste the error message? I’ll check a few things on my end, but other orders have gone through just fine.
Oh… you might want to be sure that the checkout/cart isn’t trying to apply a coupon code or anything.
